More will come and promote the latest in technology but 99% of the people will start buying into the GPS and other gadgets before they realize they'll never spend a night in the wilderness...people have enough trouble navigating through the urban jungle.

well...not necessarily...SUVs ahve their places...they've largely replaced mini-vans of choice. Great marketing on the part of the auto guys.

Give me KITT and all will be fine with me.. :)

i'm all for getting gps (especially portable incase you need to leave your car)

as far as suv's, i was stuck in a freak snow storm so i was glad to have mine. although i think having tire chains or cables beats out 4 wheel drive in snow.
