Artificial Intelligence(An alien sits behind a desk. Test tubes and beakers lay all over the desk in front of him. He holds up one test tube in his left hand.) Alien 1: (In an alien language.) I got it! I developed the perfect artificial intelligence! (Alien 2 stands behind alien 1 with his left hand on his waist. He watches alien 1, waving the test tube, half-filled with liquid, around.) Alien 1: This AI is capable of gathering intelligence, learning from mistakes, and modifying its own programs to fix its mistakes. (Talking faster.) It has built-in sensors to sample various inputs. (Talking even faster.) It has 'fuzzy logic' to make judgment calls. (Talking as fast as possible.) And I built a massive storage unit into the AI so it can store massive amount of data. As vast as today's storage capacity goes, the amount of storage space is still finite. Therefore, I programmed an algorithm into the AI so that it can 'forget' superfluous data. Alien 2: Wow. Impressive. Let's test it out. I have the perfect scenario. We'll place the AI on another planet and test its survival-ability. Alien 1: Yes. For this experiment, I will create two AI's. One will be programmed to be more logical. The other will be programmed to depend more on sensory. Since all machines wear out, we will allow them to reproduce. To keep their population from increasing drastically, reproduction criteria will require two AI's to interface with one another. Alien 2: Wonderful! Let's get started. (An UFO arrives at a far away planet. It beams two egg-shaped object onto a grass clearing. Quickly, it zooms off. The eggs hatch after a few minutes. Two figures appear out of the broken shells.) Figure 1: (In ancient language.) I'm Adam. Figure 2: (In ancient language.) I'm Eve. Both Adam and Eve: Where are we?
